How to use a DoorDash promo code
Sign in to the DoorDash app or DoorDash.com, enter your delivery address and choose a participating merchant. Add eligible items, continue to checkout, then open the area labeled Promo codes, rewards and gift cards. Enter or select the offer and review the final order summary before paying.
A discount may apply to the merchandise or food subtotal while service fees, taxes and gratuity remain. Some promotions provide free delivery but do not remove every other fee. A DoorDash gift-card code belongs in the gift-card redemption area, not the promo-code field.
DoorDash promo-code eligibility rules
Read the original offer because eligibility can depend on a first order, new DashPass signup, selected account, merchant category, city, delivery address, minimum subtotal or ordering method. Minimum-spend requirements usually use the subtotal before taxes, service fees and gratuity. Alcohol, gift cards, pickup orders and other restricted items may be excluded.

DoorDash delivery fees, service fees and final price
DoorDash says an order may include a service fee, delivery fee, small-order fee, long-distance or expanded-range fee, express fee, regulatory response fee, taxes and an optional Dasher tip. Delivery fees can start at $0 and vary by merchant, location and demand. The full mix is not identical for every order.
Compare the checkout total, not only the coupon headline. A $10 discount can be less valuable than a merchant with lower menu prices, a shorter delivery distance or an eligible DashPass minimum. Pickup can remove the delivery fee on some orders, but menu prices and service charges should still be reviewed.
DoorDash gift cards, credits and Store Rewards
U.S. DoorDash gift cards can be redeemed toward eligible orders on DoorDash.com or in the app after signing in. DoorDash’s gift-card terms say the cards do not expire and have no fees, but they are not normally returnable or redeemable for cash. Buy from DoorDash or an authorized seller because lost, stolen or unauthorized cards may not be replaced.

DoorDash order problems, refunds and cancellations
Use DoorDash support as soon as an order is missing, incorrect, damaged or not delivered as expected. DoorDash’s grocery Quality Guarantee applies only when a qualifying banner appears before checkout and the issue meets the published requirements; qualifying problems must be reported through self-help within 24 hours. DoorDash may issue a refund or credit for an eligible affected item.
Cancellation and refund outcomes depend on the order stage, merchant preparation and payment method. A promo discount or credit may not be restored automatically after cancellation. For SNAP/EBT purchases, DoorDash says eligible refunds for items bought with SNAP funds are returned to the EBT card, while other portions follow the applicable payment method.
