“What aisle is Velveeta in?” This is a question I get asked quite often from many new readers who have just started reading J. K. Rowling’s Harry Potter books. While I do realize that the books are meant to be enjoyed on all platforms, my question is often why bother starting with “paperback” when you could start from where you want to? It seems like it should be just a normal book. After all, who cares what aisle is Velveeta in?
Actually, the answer to what aisle is Velveeta in is simple. There is a magazine dedicated to this wonderful book series and one of its sections is titled “The Bookshelf,” which is actually located behind the main door of the Barnes and Noble bookstore on Center Street in New York City. It is not exactly a real book shelf. However, it is a great way to find out what is available in the market and what has been recently released.
If you are looking for books about the Harry Potter series, especially the latest books, “The Half Blood Prince,” ” Potter and the Half Blood Prince,” “The Quidditch World” and “Fantastic Four: Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince,” there will be a section available from “The Bookshelf” and you can even buy individual books by the author, J. K. Rowling. (The other four books in the series are” Chamber of Secrets,” ” Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban,” “ementos of the Purebloods,” and “Fantastic Four: Black Death.” There may be others, but these are the major ones.)
Many of the “Fantastic Four” books are available in hard copy as well as on e-reader formats. The latest release is the “Fantastic Four” series seventh book, “Uncle Severus’ Den.” It will be available in May for readers who want to have the complete series. Some of the “Fantastic Four” books are also available in Spanish. You can purchase them right from your home or office if you take advantage of what’s new in portable eBook technology.
The “Fantastic Four” books feature many of the same characters. Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Padma join forces to battle dark creatures called Dark Ones who threaten to destroy the world. The “Fantastic Four” books are available in many languages including Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and Portuguese. Another option is the “DC comics” collection that features the “DC Universe” characters as well as some original graphic novels. These graphic novels can also be purchased on electronic bookshelves at a variety of retailers, both in stores and online.
Children are attracted to animals, and there are several books in the “Fantastic Four” series that feature animals. If you would like to read a story about a dog, the “Books for Life” series is perfect. For young children, the “My Little Pony” books can teach them valuable lessons about friendship, thanksgiving, and honesty. Your child can spend hours reading what aisle is Velveeta in the selection of bookshelf products available to her from preschool to college level.
