There is a very large food industry here in La Habra, California, and most people who live here know that the Tastefully Organic restaurant is one of them. This is one of the newer establishments in town and it sells a variety of food items and drinks made with natural ingredients. The environment of this place is quite cool and laid back, so you don’t have to worry about having a good time while you eat. There is also a small stage right across from the restaurant where they host various events for local artists and bands.
It is a pleasant two-minute walk from the Tastefully Organic to the Tastefully Organic Cafe. Here you can have a leisurely drink while watching the kids play in the sand. You won’t find very many family-owned restaurants here where the adults are the only ones sitting at the bar or eating the food. Instead, you will see children playing and adults mingling with each other. This is definitely more relaxed atmosphere than you would usually find in a restaurant that caters mainly to adults.
For a quick bite to eat, you can go to the Pizzeria Caprice that offers Mediterranean style dishes with many of their pizzas being made with fresh vegetables as well as some crusty bread. Of course, no trip to San Diego would be complete without stopping by at the Old Town Antique Market and grabbing a few souvenirs for your portfolio. Of course, the best part of any stay in La Habra is to visit the Children’s Park for a picnic and to feed your hungry children.
If you haven’t been to Isla Fitness before, then you should really consider spending a day at the beach. The playground is equipped with slides and obstacle courses for your children to enjoy and the staff is very friendly and personable with kids of all ages. There are also tennis courts and beach volleyball pits available for use by all ages. There is also the Seaport Village that offers walking tours and boat trips to experience firsthand what life was like back when the English first came to the area.
For a family outing, it would be fun to head over to the Children’s Museum where there are interactive exhibits and games for the little ones. When the children are tired, there is always the Aquarium to excite them even more. Another great stop would be the Wild Kingdom, which feature jungle themed rides, exhibits, and shows. Of course, the main event is the 4-H Youth Fair that has delicious traditional foods and eatsables for every taste.
Even though you’re staying at the luxurious Isla Solutions in sunny San Diego, you won’t be able to do everything there. That’s why it’s a good idea to bring along a picnic lunch that can provide some snacks and energy to take you through all the stops. With all the activities that you’ll be doing, it wouldn’t be surprising to find yourself missing a few local restaurants that you’ve been looking forward to check out during your trip. So go online and search for restaurants that are open on the Fourth of July to make sure you get to enjoy this vacation with your loved ones while indulging your favorite tastes.
