Is PetsMart Open on 4th of July?
The Pet Mart on Fourth of July is one of those places I love to go to, no matter what the weather. If it’s nice enough, I even like to take my Pit Bull out for a good walk. But, this year, there will be fireworks and noise and I’m not sure I can handle it. I mean, what if there was a pet store downtown? Like, would you still go to PetMall? Of course not.
But, I do like to shop, so maybe I’d check out the other stores nearby. And, maybe if my Pit Bull is barking at someone while they are shopping, he wouldn’t be allowed at the store, either. Is PetsMart open on the 4th of July? The answer is probably yes, but it depends on how you look at things.
The store is celebrating Independence Day, which is pretty appropriate. But, if you read their website, you see that they’re celebrating “Petsmart’s Open Shop”, which makes me wonder how long they’ve been doing it. Maybe it’s just because fireworks are off this year, too. Now, I know my pit bull won’t let me shop if there are fireworks going off, but I don’t really see the problem with letting people come into the store and get their furry little pets any more. I mean, it’s my fault, right?
Anyway, the store is celebrating their 4th of July since I moved in here. The owner has been in the business for many years, and she loves her customers. When we get back from fireworks, she lets everyone have free reign to get their picture taken with their own pet, and sometimes, we get coupons for future purchases, too. I love that this store is accommodating to customers, yet still puts a little bit of their own flare into what they sell. It’s nice to have a store that is fun and entertaining, yet also offers good prices and quality products.
Besides offering a variety of treats and toys, the Pet Smart section of PetsMart is where you’ll find all kinds of supplies for your pet. From flea treatments to pet bowls and kibble, you can find just about everything you need to keep your pet happy and healthy at any time during the year. It’s nice to be able to walk into a store, pick up a bag of dog food for your four-legged friend, and not have to worry about where you purchased it – or whether you can trust the label.
Even though I’m not an animal owner, I love going into the store and shopping for my pet, and it’s pretty exciting when the fireworks show up – I just hope I don’t get too near them. I know I’m very careful when walking around the fireworks display area, and I try not to get too close, but there’s not much I can do when the fireworks are blasting away from the top of the roof of the store. So, I guess I’ll have to get used to watching fireworks, but it seems like it would be easier if they were just sitting there on the ground. I don’t think I’ll ever get used to seeing them explode into a conflagrated mess, but at least I’ll be safe from flying debris when I’m walking around in the store.
