Saving Verizon Text Messages
Option 1: Auto-Save
Verizon allows you to save your text messages automatically, so you don’t need to worry about scrolling through all of your conversations or copying and pasting them. To set up auto-save, follow these simple steps:
- Open the Messages app. Click on the Messages icon on your home screen and open it up.
- Tap the three-dot icon in the top right corner. This will open up the Messages settings.
- Select Settings. This will bring you to the Settings page for Messages.
- Scroll down and tap on Text Messages. This will bring up the Text Messages settings.
- Tap on Auto-save. This will bring up the Auto-save settings.
- Select either “Up to 7 days” or “Forever” as your auto-save option. This will enable auto-save for your text messages.
Option 2: Export to Computer
If you want to save all of your text messages to your computer, you can use Verizon Backup Assistant or Apple’s iCloud to export all of your text messages. Here’s how:
- Open Verizon Backup Assistant or iCloud. Depending on whether you’re using a Verizon phone or an Apple phone, open the appropriate program.
- Sign in to your account. If you don’t have an account, you’ll need to create one.
- Select the option to backup your text messages. This will export all of your text messages to your computer.
- Choose a folder to save the messages in. This will make it easier to find them later.
- Click Save. This will export all of your text messages to your chosen folder.
Option 3: Print Text Messages
If you want to keep a physical copy of your text messages, you can print them out. Here’s how:
- Open the Messages app. Click on the Messages icon on your home screen and open it up.
- Select the conversation you want to print. This will open up the conversation.
- Tap the three-dot icon in the top right corner. This will open up the Messages settings.
- Tap on Print. This will open up the Print options.
- Choose the printer you’d like to print from. This will allow you to print your text messages.
- Select the number of copies you want and click Print. This will print out your text messages.
