We are all excited to celebrate Independence Day in many parts of the country, but when it comes to a place like Bloomingdale’s the excitement can be doubled. Bloomingdale’s is known for bringing fashionable names to the people of Chicago. The stores and restaurants/bars are great places to spend the day whether you’re shopping or dining. Here are some of the places I enjoy going when I am in town:
Macy’s is a place that many people visit when they are shopping. There are always a lot of good deals and their prices are very reasonable. Macy’s has a big store front as well as other smaller shops and restaurants. When I am shopping there I try to find the deals I love first and then I go to the other stores that I want to buy something from but can’t find anything. This allows me to get a larger variety of products for a cheaper price.
Bath & Body Works is a fantastic place to go if you plan on buying some large items. I like to find bath and body works that sell well during the holiday because usually they have a sale on them and I can get them for a great price. Some of the bath and body works are highly popular like those with polka dots and stripes.
If I’m feeling extra frisky I might go to Bed Bath & Beyond. They have a very large store front and it is filled with interesting items. There are a lot of things to choose from, including things like body scrubs and nightgowns. If you are looking for an unusual item I might check out this store. The store is very popular and they never have any sales on certain items.
If I’m looking for more practical things I might go to Old Navy. They have some nice clothing that is very popular. There are a few different store fronts and I can find some really good deals if I look in the right places. I find that they are very popular during the summer months because there are all those vacationers visiting the mall.
Overall, I would suggest going to a local store that you are familiar with. It makes no sense to spend a bunch of money on things you don’t need or wear. You will also want to find out when the store is open. Usually they post their hours online but not all stores do. Most people will be shopping at the mall on this day, so make sure you plan accordingly. I hope you enjoyed the 4th of July!
