A History lesson on 4th of July
We Are American is a patriotic musical tribute to the US Air Force, a moving day time show with musical numbers, songs and an overall atmosphere of patriotism. It’s a great time for Americans to take a look back at our great nation and to feel a sense of pride in our common bonds. It’s also a great time for Americans to come together as one. Many times, we are divided by race, religion, culture or even our political affiliation. However, when all are one, as we are today, there is no greater feeling in the world.
“We Are American” is about uniting the whole family. It’s about celebrating a heritage that is steeped in history and heritage. It is about uniting with others from all walks of life, all colors and creeds. It is about love of America, unity, diversity and a strong future.
Our fourth song, “We Are American,” tells the story of how this great song was created. The song was written by George Washington. It is a moving rendition of our greatest hero. In fact, it says it all. A good way to get in the spirit is to recite the words to this beautiful composition each day. You will feel inspired and want to help support this great country.
A favorite of mine is “The Star-Spangled Banner” from last year’s Independence Day. While it is no longer the first national song, it was certainly the one that was captured on film by our greatest president. It is widely known, and rightly so, as a fitting tribute to our great leader. No matter what your beliefs are, it is a fitting song to hear on this day of remembrance.
The United States of America is the greatest single country ever created in the history of mankind. It has inspired wars, given way to tyrants, and caused human beings to fight and die for it. But for those who support our nation and stand by its side, there is no need to celebrate on this day. It is a time of gathering and healing, remembering and giving thanks for the freedoms we enjoy.
So, what are you doing on the 4th of July? Do you have anything planned? If not, I highly recommend you host a local family barbecue. Invite the entire neighborhood and give everyone a chance to bond over some food. After eating and sharing funny stories and laughing at one another’s jokes, you will soon forget the Fourth of July happened today.
