
4th of July Fireworks at the US Bank Open
The Fourth of July is a national holiday in the United States of America. The date, July fourth, is a historical marker, pertaining to the end of World War ll and the signing of the Declaration of Independence. It is also widely regarded as one of the most glorious days in the nation’s history. On this day, many celebrations are organized around the nation. To mark this national day, US Bank offers several fireworks displays at its New York location.
This year, the Bank has decided to host a fireworks display. What started out as just a simple rummage sale for guests to enjoy a spectacular show at the Bank has quickly escalated into a major promotional event. Hundreds of people from the surrounding communities and even those far away to visit the Bank on 4th of July weekend. This is because the Bank is willing to open their doors to allow these revelers into the premises. In a single afternoon, people can view the display of more than twenty pyrotechnic devices and fireworks, ranging from smaller models, to professionally designed large displays.
Judging by the crowd at the Bank on 4th of July weekend, it is apparent that there is no shortage of attendees. People of all ages and from every walk of life are present. There are children on bikes and scooters, adults enjoying their newly acquired safety, and older attendees watching intently with a checklist on their list of necessary supplies. The Bank is happy to say that despite the large turnout, there was minimal police presence, resulting in a peaceful and safe gathering.
In keeping with tradition, the Bank hosts the patriotic fireworks display at half past eleven o’clock in the evening. This time is chosen to display the American flag, as it is the symbol of the United States. The performance of the fireworks displays is highlighted by a military band to provide an exciting background for the display.
An outdoor music band performs throughout the evening, followed by fireworks displays. As expected, there is a police escort along with some other staff members to monitor the fireworks display. Approximately thirty to fifty people are permitted to attend average sized fireworks display. Although the number is typically lower, it does not compromise the safety of the attendees.
At approximately eight o’clock in the evening, a representative from the Bank of America will be on hand to address attendees directly. During this address, he/she will offer a patriotic message. Following the keynote address, a musical performance by a string quartet will be featured. The fireworks display will then take place over at the Bank of America’s Grand Hyatt.
